Terms and conditions
Effective from 1 November 2026
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Interpres Alphabet (the "agency") and every client who orders a written translation, interpreting or document legalisation through the website interpresalphabet.com. By sending a request and paying a quote, the client accepts these terms.
1. Request and quote
The client sends a request through the website form and, where needed, attaches the documents for translation. The agency reviews the documents and emails the client a quote stating the price, the deadline and the bank account for payment. The quote is valid for 7 calendar days from the date it is sent.
2. Prices
Prices are in euros and are shown on the website. The price of a written translation is calculated per standard page of 1,800 characters including spaces, according to the language group, the document category and the chosen deadline. Interpreting is charged per hour, and every hour started is charged as a full hour. The price of legalisation is set individually in the quote.
3. Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer in euros to the account stated in the quote. Work on the order starts once the payment has been received in the agency's account. Bank charges for the transfer are borne by the client.
4. Deadlines
The deadline is stated in the quote and runs from the moment the payment is received in the agency's account. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Bulgaria. Legalisation deadlines also depend on the institutions certifying the documents, and the agency is not liable for delays caused by them.
5. Delivery of the translation
The finished translation is sent the way the client has chosen: by email, by courier to an address provided by the client (Econt, Speedy or DHL), or both. Courier delivery is paid by the client according to the courier's rates. The agency is not liable for delay or loss of a shipment caused by the courier company, or for an inaccurate address provided by the client.
6. Phone, online and on-site interpreting
The day, time and duration of interpreting are agreed when ordering. If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the agreed time, the agency may retain 50% of the amount paid. If the client is late, the interpreting time is not extended unless the interpreter is available.
7. Cancellation
- Before work has started, the client may cancel and receives a full refund.
- After work has started, the client pays for the part already completed and the remainder is refunded.
- Once the translation has been sent to the client, the amount paid is not refunded.
Refunds are made to the bank account from which payment was made within 14 days.
8. Complaints
The client may submit a complaint about an error in the translation by email within 14 calendar days of receiving it, stating the specific errors. If the complaint is justified, the agency corrects the translation free of charge and promptly. The client's stylistic preferences and inaccuracies caused by an illegible or incomplete original are not considered errors.
9. Liability
The agency translates the content of the documents as it is and is not liable for the accuracy of the data in the originals. The agency's liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.
10. Confidentiality
The client's personal data and documents are used solely to prepare the quote and carry out the order. They are not shared with third parties, except with the translator, the courier and institutions where necessary to carry out the order, and are deleted once they are no longer needed.
11. Changes
The agency may change these terms. Each order is governed by the terms published on the website on the date of its payment.
